(Original Caption) Actress Marilyn Monroe, covered by a sheet, is wheeled on a stretcher into Doctor's Hospital here August 1st after being rushed 100 miles from her Long Island home by ambulance to prevent a threatened miscarriage. Her husband playwright Arthur Miller, prepares to lift her suitcase (center). Miller told newsmen as he left the hospital six hours later Miss Monroe was "better." The couple had denied rumors that as to when the baby will be born, Miller told reporters.
