Royal Marine Commandos in Afghanistan

404159 03: British Royal Marines and Royal Engineers from 3 Commando Brigade are positioned with troops from the Afghan Military Force during Operation Ptarmigan in the Afghanistan mountains, April 18, 2002. The soldiers are deployed as part of the Operation Jacana Taskforce in the region, based at Bagram Airbase.
