Health concerns in Syria

While more than 820 million people worldwide struggle with hunger, over 670 million adults and 120 million children aged 5 to 19 years have obesity. Food insecurity raises concerns about "acute hunger" caused by high levels of malnutrition and "unhealthy nutrition", which increases the risks of illness and death. According to Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations; more than 820 million people, or one in 9, are struggling with hunger worldwide, with an increasing number of malnourished people. As thousands of people have lost their lives in the clashes in Syria, the humanitarian crisis increases day by day.
