Civilians Flee Fighting Near Mosul's Old City
MOSUL, IRAQ - JUNE 2, 2017: A commando of 7 men of the 1st brigade of the ISOF (Iraqi Special Operations Forces) fights Daesh, house by house, to take control of Al Saha, one of the last districts of Mosul be still under control of Islamic State at the North of the old city."nAn RPG was just shot at one of the brigade's Humvees and Iraqi forces searched for the shooter floor-by-floor in the houses on that street. The fighters are tense, and their enemy does not hesitate to make suicide attacks on them; two of the three houses they took control of in one hour were booby-trapped.
