Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam
Erasmusbrug or Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, Netherlands on 25 February 2018. The famous cable bridge is named after Desiderius Erasmus who was from Rotterdam. The bridge has a nickname, called "The Swan". It was constructed in 1996 in a cost of 165 million euro. The total lenght of the bridge is 802 meters and 139m high. It is the bascule bridge is the largest and heaviest in Western Euroope. Today is a landmark for Rotterdam, Netherlands and Europe, hosting many events and seen in many movies.
