Maggie Keswick

Fashion designer Maggie Keswick (1941 - 1995) modelling a dress of her own design at her home in Scotland, 20th April 1965. The dress is made from a Sanderson's furnishing fabric by William Morris. Keswick later took up architecture and garden design, often in partnership with her husband Charles Jencks. In 1995, the couple co-founded the Maggie's Centres network of therapeutic hospices for cancer patients after Keswick herself was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
