Lawrence Marcus Chatting with Joe Hong

Dallas, Texas: Neiman-Marcus Vice-President Lawrence Marcuse (left) and the department store's fashion designer Joe Hong discuss the final details of the gown chosen by actress Grace Kelly to be worn by the bridesmaids at her forthcoming marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco. When the store learned it hsd been chosen to submit a design, Marcus went to Monaco to look over the Catherdral where the wedding is to take place. Having absorbed some of the atmoshphere, he was able to suggest to designer Hong colors and lines that will blend with the general setting. The 25 year old Hong, working on his first professional assignment, had his design chosen from among eight submitted to Miss Kelly by various fashion creators.
