In an exclusive interview with United Press correspondent Anthony Cavendish, Poujade, who now controls 51 out of 626 seats General Assembly seats won by his followers, vowed January 4th he will call "tax strikes, labor strikes, and any other kind of strikes" if France does not "reform." He did not say precisely what reform he feels is needed. The 34-year-old Poujade, who already has said he will not join any government formed by the new Assembly, said his 481 candidates in the election kept the Communists from doing better than they did.
