John Sinclair Leading Way for His Followers

(Original Caption) Detroit: John Sinclair (R), head of the Ann Arbor radical movement seems to be pointing the way while his lieutenant, Lawrence (Pun) Plamondon (C) and wife Genie (L) look on in downtown Detroit after Plamondon, 27, was released on $55,000 bond in the 1968 bombing of an Ann Arbor, Mich, CIA office. His release came after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled June 20 that wiretap evidence in his case was illegal because it had not been ordered by the Courts. Plamondon, who spent 22 months in various state jails serving his sentence and Sinclair founded the radical White Panther Party, which has evolved into the Rainbow People's Party, which is campaigning for the legalization of marijuana.
