Only a few of its slopes are open in Gréolières-les-Neiges...
MANDELIEU LA NAPOULE, FRANCE - 2024/02/13: Only a few of its slopes are open in Gréolières-les-Neiges, as the resort relies on snow cannons to artificially produce snow, during the February holidays. After experiencing years of inadequate snowfall, local authorities are reconsidering the future of the family-oriented ski resort Gréolières les Neiges. They are considering renaming it to Gréolières 1400, reflecting its location nestled at an altitude of 1400 meters on the northern slope of the Cheiron Massif. This decision comes as the lowest resort in the Alpes-Maritimes grapples with the effects of global warming, which have led to unreliable snow conditions. As a result, there is a discussion about removing references to snow from the resort's name. (Photo by Laurent Coust/SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Images)
