Royal-Thomian Annual Cricket Match In Colombo
Royal College students pose for a photograph following the conclusion of the three-day match at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo on the 14th of March 2020. Known as the Royal-Thomian, this annual cricket match was the 141st between Royal College in Colombo and St. Thomas' College in Mt Lavinia and has been played by the schools since 1879. The match is affectionately known as the Battle of the Blues due to the colours of each school's flag. The match ended in a draw and St Thomas' College retained the trophy.
