Sapânta, Maramures, Romania - The Merry Cemetery of Sapanta. The first wooden cross where designed by Stan Ioan Patras and are now made by Dimitru Pop Tincu. The cemetary is famous for its colourful tombstones with naïve paintings describing, in an original and poetic manner, the persons that are buried there as well as scenes from their lives.
