ME/SARA 3/31/05 BRISTOW, VA #1666483 BY: MARGARET THOMAS TWP Sara Peters, who in 1993 was born prematurely at 25 weeks and tipped the scales at 15 ounces, was the smallest baby to be born and survive at Fairfax Inova hospital. She not only survived, but is now a perfectly healthy and active 11 year old middle school student who loves animals. Technology that keeps preemies alive has improved so much that even the smallest babies have a chance of survival. Sara Peters (cq) survived a premature birth.
