WELLINGTON, CO (04-22-2006) -- State Patrol officers examined a Dodge Intrepid Saturday afternoon after it's driver and passengers crashed into a guardrail and fled into Wellington, Colorado. The car was stolen. The vehicle was initially noticed by the State Patrol driving on Interstate 25 at a high rate of speed. Attempts to pull the car over were unsuccesful and a high speed chase ensued. The chase ended when the dirver of the stolen car lost control trying to take the exit ramp onto State Highway 1 at Wellington.
