Funeral of Assassinated journalist Hrant Dink

Dink, a 53-year-old Turkish citizen of Armenian descent and editor of the Armenian and Turkish language Agos newspaper, was shot dead as he left the newspaper office on January 19. He had gone on trial numerous times for speaking out about the mass killings of Armenians by Turks at the beginning of the 20th century and, last year, was found guilty under Turkey's notorious Article 301 for having 'insulted Turkishness' for comments made in his newspaper.
