Victim Of Gangland Execution

Original caption: The bloody body of Giuseppe Bello, alias Giuseppe Fansone, 40-year-old underworld character, lies in the alleyway at 442 East 117th Street where gangland executioners pumped nine bullets into him after forcing him to march into the alleyway through a 40-foot hallway, down a flight of stairs, through an airshaft and over a five-foot wall. Bello was evidently killed by the first shots from a .38 calibre gun, but the executioners aimed other shots at the same places at which the smaller bullets had entered with a .45 calibre gun.
