Venezuela To Leave OAS
CARACAS, VENEZUELA - APRIL 27: Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza gestures during a demonstration to back up the decision of ruling PSUV (Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela) to leave OAS (Organization of American States) on April 27, 2019 in Caracas, Venezuela. As of today, Venezuela does no longer belong to OAS after filling all the requierements during a two year process. The government of Nicolás Maduro had complained that OAS acted against its principles and in favour of the Unites States. OAS does not recognize the legitimacy of Maduro and called Juand Guaidó as the legitimate president of Venezuela. (Photo by Carlos Becerra/Getty Images)
