Norway Salmons revenues Rise

Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) informed that its operating revenue grew by 23.9 per cent in the second quarter, to NOK 1,232.9 million (USD 155.8 million) from the corresponding prior-year period thanks to higher sold volume and higher prices. Salmon is Norway's best-known food product abroad and Norway's third biggest export after oil and gas. Every day, Norway exports 36 million salmon dinner portions, 1112 million of which are from farmed salmon. This makes Norway the world's biggest exporter of Atlantic salmon, and it is an extremely important industry for the people living along the coast, the national economy and global food supplies.
