Lost World. Unique panoramic aerial view of the Auyantepui (Auyan Tepuy) table top mountain at Uruyen indigenous tourist village. This beautiful and famous indigenous travel place is located south of the Auyantepui or AuyanTepuy in La Gran Sabana, Venezuela. La Gran Sabana, spreads into the regions of the Guiana Highlands and south-east into Bolívar State all the way to the borders with Brazil and Guyana. The largest National Park in Venezuela is Parima Tapirapecó located in the Amazon State. The Gran Sabana has an area of 10,820 km2 and is part of the second largest National Park in Venezuela, the Canaima National Park. The average temperature is around 20 °C , but at night can drop to 13 °C, nevertheless on top of the tepuis it can reach 0 °C (32 °F). La Gran Sabana shows one of the most unusual landscapes in the world, with rivers, waterfalls, deep and huge valleys, impenetrable jungles and savannahs that host large numbers and varieties of plant and animal species. The most prominent geological features are the table top mountains known as tepuis.
