I took this photo at Hon Yen beach, Phu Yen province and Nhon Ly, Binh Dinh province, Vietnam. That is also the time when local fishermen start their fishing work.Seine nets are caught on the principle of filtering water to catch fish, released from the boat and pulled on board. Seine nets specialize in catching fish in groups and only release the net to a certain depth. When anchovies are discovered, the fishermen use nets to surround and catch fish.During the fishing process, the shape of the seine net always changes. From the beginning of release the net is in the form of a flat net, to the end of release it is in the form of a cylinder and when performing the winding process it is in the shape of a spherical pyramid.Fishing boats usually have a small capacity of less than 90 CV (horsepower), so they mainly fish near shore, with 10-13 fishermen on each boat.
