Khaju Bridge is probably the finest bridge in Isfahan. It was built by the Persian Safavid period around 1650 (under king Shah Abbas II). It is both a dam and a bridge across the Zayandeh River. Khaju Bridge is made of bricks and stones. It has 23 arches and is 133 metres long. There is a pavilion in the center of the bridge.
