Looking at the modern Opera House of Oslo, Norway. In 1999, after a long national debate, the Norwegian legislature decided to construct a new opera house in the city. In 2008 it was opened y His Majesty King Harald, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. Until today more than a million visitors every year since then visit this famous landmark of norway. The angled exterior surfaces of the building are covered with marble from Carrara, Italy and white granite and make it appear to rise from the water.
