NEW YORK, NEW YORK – DECEMBER 7, 2017: Activist and Dreamers gathered in Washington Square Park to protest the ‘Muslim Ban’ (Travel Ban), Tax Reform (aka ‘Tax Scam’) and to support the Dream Act. The event was hosted by MPower Change, Strong Economy for all Coalition and The New York Immigration Coalition. After the Washington Square Park rally the demonstrators marched to 26 Federal Plaza in the downtown civic area of Manhattan where they rallied once again and ended the rally with a ‘Die-in’ (also known as a ‘sit-in’). The topics covered during the night included, The Travel Ban, Tax Reform, DACA (Dream Act), and sexual harassment.
