'Wearside Jack' police posters printed, UK; 1979

As a new police publicity campaign is launched, print operatives inspect a poster that is moving through a printing press - the campaign was set to highlight (false lead) letters and audio tapes (sometimes known as the "I'm Jack" tapes) sent by 'Wearside Jack', later found to be the hoaxer John Humble, in relation to to the serial killings perpetrated on women by the 'Yorkshire Ripper', who was later found to be the murderer Peter Sutcliffe - shows publication close-ups appealing, 'HELP US STOP THE RIPPER FROM KILLING AGAIN.
