AA freelancer injured in Idlib chemical attack hospitalized in Turkey

Kantar who fell sick while covering the aftermath of the chemical attack in Syrian city of Idlib was hospitalized in Turkey yesterday night and recieves tretament as he's exposed to chemical agents used in the attack. He tells his recollections about the incident to AA reporter visiting him. He says that he took off at about 08:00 a.m. to go to Khan Sheikhoun town of Idlib where the chemical attack took place after receiving some help calls on his cellphone. He remembers that the attack happened when he was just 30 kilometers outside the town. "There were dead bodies of children scattered all around and civil defence workers were desperately pumping water over people and trying to change their clothes at the same time on the scene. I watched all these in dismay." he says. He tells that he arrived in Khan Sheikhoun where the actual attack took place after getting some footage from there. He says that civil defense teams were wearing chemical suits on the scene as it's understood that it's a chemical attack by then. "They were trying to recover people from debris and I stayed there for hours before feeling myself sick.", he remembers. He tells that he was taken to hospital in an ambulance in Idlib and then discharged after improving a little bit but then he fell sick again and brought to Turkey.
