Samurai Warlord's Golden Boat Revived

OSAKA, JAPAN - April 24: A gilded boat used by the late 16th century warlord Hideyoshi Toyotomi was revived as part of an event to commemorate the 400th anniversary of civil war that ended the rule of the Toyotomi family. The revived 10-meter roofed boat is the revival of Ho-o Maru and is gilded with three thousand gold leaves all around the body. It will cruise tourists from April 25 to September 30 along inner moat of Osaka Castle which was once domiciled by the Toyotomi family.
