Marcy Kaptur opposes two week continuing resolution

Ohio Representative Marcy Kaptur argues that for a nation at war, the Department of Defense cannot let contracts because of adolescent dallying by Congress after a fruitless effort to agree upon new budget caps after the Republican majority produced no budget, insisting there is no good reason to kick decisions down the road for another two weeks in fits and starts, not with the American people deserve knowing that 1 million people in Puerto Rico still do not have energy and power, vast numbers disrupted in managed healthcare by the unnecessary burden placed on them, which is unacceptable because instead Republicans chose to avoid doing what was critical and pass a tax bill that rewards the wealthiest Americans and wreaks havoc on the hard-working class, an abdication of leadership.
