Japan: 6 Injured After Coming In Contact With Chemical Inside Bullet Train In Sendai 2
6 people were either injured or felt unwell after suspected chemical fumes were reported inside one of the cars of a bullet train traveling from Shin-Aomori to Tokyo on Monday, October 9. According to reports, the Tohoku Shinkansen Hayabusa No. 52 train stopped at JR Sendai Station after a passenger on board pressed the emergency call button due to a 5-year-old boy coming into contact with something that looked like a chemical on the train and suffered burns. People on the platform in Sendai reported seeing smoke coming from the No. 7 car's door. Passengers were disembarked and the trip was suspended. The chemical is being investigated.Video Location: Sendai Station, Miyagi, Japan (Footage by @m_a_c_a_r_o_ni/Spectee via Getty Images UGC)
