Sarah Eggenberger is contributor-- contributing editor at New Beauty magazine. And she is here with their beauty best awards. Good morning to you. SARAH EGGENBERGER (Contributing Editor, New Beauty): Good morning. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: I love when you guys do the hard work for us and all of the products we are going to see are under hundred bucks. SARAH EGGENBERGER: Exactly, under hundred dollars. And we have chosen these products as our New Beauty, Beauty Choice Awards. Based upon what viewers, editors and experts tell us about their favorite products. And we break it down very specifically so as a consumer, you know what to go for and you know what your results are going to be based upon your conditions and your concerns. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: All right. So everybody get out their note pads. We're going to-- SARAH EGGENBERGER: Exactly. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE:--we're going to start with the best cleanser which is? SARAH EGGENBERGER: So you want to the cleanser-- this is Roc's max resurfacing cleanser. It's an amazing product because it’s a cleanser and an exfoliator pulled together into one product. We love multitasking products. And you’re going to have micro-spears that exfoliate the skin. So it gets the oil debris and dead skin cells that actually stop your anti-ageing products from penetrating the skin. So it’s almost like a primer for your serums and your other actives to penetrate into your skin. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: All right. Everybody says you need a supercharged antioxidant. SARAH EGGENBERGER: Yes. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: This is the one you guys like, why? SARAH EGGENBERGER: Yeah. So this is vitamin C. This is from SkinCeuticals. They're backed by a ten patents and twenty pre-review studies. So they are very supportive for the anti-oxidant technology. This is using ten percent ascorbic acid, which is the most potent form of Vitamin C you should use, there's also ferulic acid. And so you’re going to help to fight the free radicals environmental stressors, all fancy skin care (unintelligible) just have a healthier look. So think of this as your multivitamin for your skin every morning. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: All right. The other essentials retinol product. SARAH EGGENBERGER: Yeah. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: We have a beautiful model from our crowd Miss Carolyn and she’s trying this out to tell us about it. SARAH EGGENBERGER: Retinol is going to be one of the two topicals that the FDA considers to be anti-aging. It's also the number one dermatologists recommended skin care products. And it is just like the magic behind a flawless complexion. It helps with cell turnovers. And this is Jan Marini's and its one percent retinol along with your peptides and antioxidants. So it's the perfect antioxidants cocktail. Use this in the evening to get flawless skin. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: All right. You know I think Carolyn’s got some good genes working on her side but, okay you've done a good product too. Let's do the eye creams. SARAH EGGENBERGER: So eyes creams, our eyes aid the fastest. This is going to make all your other eye products jealous because it’s going to attack all the major eye concerns. This is StriVectin's SD eye concentrate. It contains your peptides, antioxidants and also these diffusers so you get like an iridescent look and it just-- it really gives it a flawless appearance and makes your eyes look brighter and more fresh. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: All right. The next one is the anti-aging moisturizer. This can get to be a very big-ticket item but this one's affordable. SARAH EGGENBERGER: This one's very affordable. This is only going to be thirty dollars. It's very affordable for the price point. And what you’re going to find with this is that it contains this bio-energy technology that helps look of fatigue in the skin. That look that you kind of get, that tired look, that tired impression that some people have, this helps to actually rejuvenate the skin. They have a study about polled over twenty-five hundred women and then your skin had less wrinkles have brighter complexion. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Can I ask a crazy question? SARAH EGGENBERGER: Of course. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Are you supposed to use all of these products? SARAH EGGENBERGER: Yes. So this is actually a perfect regimen. So you have your cleanser, your vitamin A and C, which is kind of like the cornerstone of an anti-ageing program-- SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Yeah. SARAH EGGENBERGER:--then your eye cream is a must, your moisturizer and then we're going to complete that with your sunscreen. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Okay. Sunscreen, we know is very important. SARAH EGGENBERGER: Yes. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: So how do you pronounce this if I would see it at the drugstore? SARAH EGGENBERGER: This is La Roche-Posay Anthelios-- SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Okay. SARAH EGGENBERGER: And this is an amazing product because it is very lightweight as you can see it, Nicholas is applying it to our model. And it gives you that coverage without peeking through your make-up. It doesn't feel like you are wearing a sunscreen. And so that’s why this actually won New Beauty's Beauty Choice Awards because people don’t apply their sunscreen as well as they should because they don’t like the feel, they don't like the way it looks on daily basis. Well, you can apply this on a daily basis to your skin. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: And we've got lovely Linda from our plaza who's getting the application. And people don’t use enough sunscreen either, do they? SARAH EGGENBERGER: They don't. so they actually need to apply a nickel-sized amount to their face. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Nickel for-- SARAH EGGENBERGER:--this is full shot for your-- for your body. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: That much? SARAH EGGENBERGER: For your body. Oh, well-- and come on. Okay, Sarah. You're freaking me out there with that one. Okay. SARAH EGGENBERGER: That is for the-- the nickel-size for the face but this is very lightweight so it's very easy to apply. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: All right. Last but not least, cellulite. SARAH EGGENBERGER: Yeah. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Can we just do the disclaimer? You’re not going to rub this on your thighs on the side. SARAH EGGENBERGER: That’s very true. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: If you are, let me tell you I'm taking that whole pack. SARAH EGGENBERGER: You need to couple this with healthy diet and exercise, but over ninety percent of the population of women have cellulite. And so this attacks the areas that are programmed to have cellulite, the hips, the thighs, the buttocks. And it contains five percent caffeine. Isn't this really cool unique roll over application so you just rub it into the skin-- SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Okay. SARAH EGGENBERGER: And it's amazing what it can do for you. SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: All right. Sarah Eggenberger, thank you so much. SARAH EGGENBERGER: Keep going.
