Secretary Pompeo updates Senate panel on US reaction to employee injury in China

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tells the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that days earlier a Department officer had suffered a medical incident consistent with an occurrence in Havana, the Chinese government was informed of the Guangzhou incident, reported to be a mild traumatic brain injury resulting from sound or pressure, that government said all the right things and demonstrated a willingness to identify the vector which led to the medical incident, having medical teams headed that way to help American officers serving in China doing what can be done to mitigate risks of another incident there or anyplace else in the world.
