Body of Daesh/ISIS leader handed over to US forces
DARAA, SYRIA - DECEMBER 18: The corpse of Abu al-Hassan al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, a former Daesh/ISIS leader, was handed to the US forces.Al-Qurayshi was killed in mid-October during a Free Syrian Army operation in Syria's Daraa province.The 8th Division, one of the Syrian military opposition groups acting with the US forces at the Al-Tanf military base in southern Syria, exhumed the body buried in the Jasim town cemetery and handed it over to US forces about 10 days ago, says US soldier.The death is the second of a Daesh/ISIS leader following a February US raid in northwestern Syria that led to the death of Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, the predecessor of the man killed last month.
