Two Twilight Express luxury sleeper trains lie side by side for first time at Kyoto Railway Museum

Video footage shows the old and the new luxurious Twilight Express sleeper trains being placed together side by side for the first time at the Koto Railway Museum in the city’s Shimogyo Ward. The earlier Twilight Express ran between Osaka and Sapporo until March 2015, while its sleek successor Twilight Express Mizukaze began service on June 17 last year to link Kyoto and Osaka with Shimonoseki in Yamaguchi Prefecture. West Japan Railway Co. (JR West) towed the trains to the museum for a June 17 event commemorating the first year of Mizukaze service on the new route.
