Mark Meadows calls questioned spending requests rounding errors in second coronavirus relief package talks
White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows tells a reporter in Statuary Hall that he did not see any appropriations requests being a stumbling block to getting a deal done on further coronavirus relief, whether on the FBI building or other appropriations in the Republican proposal for the HEALS Act, to get a really good place if it were just those but those were rounding errors based on the dollars being talked about and a priority for President Donald Trump was to address unemployment insurance and making sure people hurting from the temporary economic downturn were not only supported but felt the administration is going to do what it is always done in raising this would struggle the most not be hurt by a decision to shut down the economy because a virus came from China, there was still a design at all the China accountable for that but Trump had not overly emphasized that priority in the bill of the negotiation.
